Police Foundation

The objects of the Trust shall be inter alia charitable in nature and shall be primarily the following. 
1. Promotion of Efficiency, Standards, Skills, Techniques and Modemization of Mumbai Police Department for protection of general public.
2. Activities relating to attending medical emergencies arising out of official duties, fitness, health care, training, maintenance of infrastructure, education and well being of the police force in order render efficient services to general public.
3. Computerization of police stations and police units, digitization of police records, provision for e-services, modernization of equipment, etc. for enhancing the efficiency and capability of the force in order to improve services.
4. Procurement of modern equipment and protection gears for policemen to effectively tackle law and order situations while rendering services to public.
5. To suppon activities promoting police public interaction, communal harmony including organising public awareness campaigns on various aspect of policing
6. To grant scholarships to policemen / citizens for higher studies / research in India and abroad for the fields related to various aspects of policing.
7. To restore artefacts, equipment, archives and other related material of historical value, including displaying those in Police Museum in order to provide information, education and awareness about police history to general public.
8. To support initiatives for enhancing capabilitie of cyber investigation by providing Technology and spreading awareness about cybe frauds and crimes in order to more efficiently serve the public.
9. To organise and Participate in Security Awareness Programmes, social and cultural programmes seminars, exhibitions, workshops etc. to educate public and improve public police interaction.
10. To undetake Green Initiatives, Water Conservation, Waste Management etc. in all police units / establishments including spreading awareness about the environmental impact to the general public.
11. To undenake any other charitable activity of public interest as per the provisions of the Income Tax Act 1961 for the benefit of the general public.police faundation
