"Regarding the arrest of a female accused in the crime of human trafficking in Hubli, Kolkata, West Bengal and the rescue of two minor victims..." On 05/08/2024, a complaint was filed by Amar Dhiren Sardar, age 65 years, profession House Keeping, resident of Vijayanagar, Antop Hill, Mumbai, at Wadala T.T. Police Station, Mumbai, regarding the missing of his son-in-law Anil Purvaiya and grandson Bali.Based on the complaint given by him, a major missing person case was registered under No. 126/2024 and an investigation was conducted. It was found that a person named Anil Purvaiya, along with his 2-year-old son, was found dead with the help of Asma Sheikh, Sharif Sheikh and Asha Pawar.It was clear that it was sold for Rs. 1,60,000/-. M. Poupani Sima Kashinath Khandagale filed a complaint on behalf of the government and on 21/08/2024, G.R.C 623/2024 Section 143(1) (3) (4) (5) IPC.A case was registered against the accused Anil Purvaya, Asma Sheikh, Sharif Sheikh and Asha Pawar under Section 81 of the IPC Act.In the investigation of the said crime, accused Anil Purva and accused Asma Sheikh have been arrested from Mumbai. During the investigation conducted with them, it was found that accused Asha Pawar was involved.Accordingly, the accused Asha Pawar has been arrested from Hyderabad. On 09/07/2024, Asha Pawar with the help of Asma Sheikh, Sharif Sheikh, raped Rashmi at Bhubaneswar Railway Station, Odisha.He said that he had divulged the information to a woman named Asha Pawar and said that he did not have any further information about her. Rashmi Badal conducted a technical analysis of the information received from the arrested accused Asha Pawar.Based on technical analysis, the police team left on 05/04/2025 after receiving information that the wanted accused was working at Hi Tech Dental Hospital, Bhubaneswar.When the team went to Sam-02 Hospital Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and investigated, it was found that she had left the place and left. Also, more information about the accused should be obtained from there and the accused should be identified through technical analysis.Rashmi Banerjee was found to be from Hubli district, Kolkata, state of West Bengal.On 09/04/2025, a search was conducted at the address obtained with the help of local police at Uttarpara Police Station, Hubli, West Bengal, where the victim of the crime was found along with a boy and an unknown girl of about 03 years old.Accused Reshma Santoshkumar Banerjee, age 43 years, profession dentist, was produced before the Hon'ble Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Serampore and remanded in judicial custody.Also, the child victim and the 3-year-old unidentified girl were produced before the Child Welfare Committee, Hubli, and the custody of the child victim was given to the investigation team. Also, the unidentified child victim has been kept in a children's home.After completing all the legal procedures, the arrested accused and the victim child have been brought to Wadala T.T. Police Station on 12/04/2025. Since the victim child has visible signs of injuries on his body, he has been He has been admitted to the hospital for further treatment.
