Navghar Police Station has been operating from the year 2001 in MHADA colony, MHADA bus depot, near Mulund (E.), Mumbai.

Navghar police station, Mumbai was a beat of Mulund Police Station. Mulund Police Station is located on the west side of Mulund railway station and Navghar police station is on the eastern side of Mulund railway station. Since the increase of population, the Navghar police station has been established by separating the eastern part of the Mulund railway station from Mulund Police Station in 2001.
